Outdoor Room

  An contemporary urban garden designed and built for Chelsea Flower show presenter Nicki Chapman.

• After extensive refurbishment to the interior of the house, including the construction of a large open plan kitchen, we were given the task of designing the small exterior space that was left.

  Immediately it felt right that this should be an extension of this new living area.

  The large concertina doors fold back completely and using exterior porcelain tiles to match the interior ones, we set about creating a stylish and slick outdoor room to compliment the house.

• Features include raised rendered beds capped with matching porcelain, Ipe hardwood decking and fencing to reflect the timber kitchen units, a sand-blasted effect perspex water feature, low maintenance Mediterranean planting, a screened stainless steel BBQ with mini herb garden, automatic irrigation and remote controlled lighting.
