Family Garden

  “Thanks for doing such an amazing job on our garden – we are really, really pleased. In fairly adverse weather conditions you and your guys have managed a masterful creation. We all love it, especially the boys!”

  We were approached by the clients to design and build a large garden to compliment their new home. It needed to accommodate their 2 small boys, take into consideration their new kitchen extension, compliment the classic Victorian features of the front of the house whilst at the same time bringing a bit of style and modernity into the equation.

• The levels were quite a challenge for this project but were solved with a large terrace at house level to extend from their interior living space. We also continued this level with a raised flower bed and paved pathway through to the front garden.

  Steps down to a sizeable lawn for a trampoline, climbing frame and toys was essential, together with a screened driveway and small terrace for their garage / outhouse at the end of the garden.

• Features include Autumn Brown sandstone, as a stylish but affordable solution for 250 sq metres of paving, low maintenance planting with automatic irrigation, lighting and a large terracotta pot and archway as a feature to draw the eye from the house.

  In the front garden contemporary style meets traditional with English lavender, Verbena and Iris repeated throughout, surrounded by formal clipped box hedging and complimented by tall structural pots.
